American Native Plant Day

Join us for a patriotic ‘Fifth of July’ celebration!  Our American Natives will be looking great in their summertime garb! At 11:00 am we will have an open-air discussion of the natives in our yard.  We will discuss which plants to use in Rain Gardens, which plants are well-behaved in your perennial garden as well as the all the advantages of using natives in your yard.  Show your patriotic colors and grow native! Special pricing on native plants will be offered all weekend!

Children’s Gardening

Are your children in touch with nature?  Drop the remote, put down the game controller, unplug the mp-3 player and bring the kids to the Natural Garden.  We will have special plants to give your children to take home and plant so that they can experience nature.  A free 2.5” milkweed will be given to each class participant.  We will discuss why these and other plants are so vital to our natural world.  Plants that will peak your child’s curiosity through the senses as well as historical significance will be demonstrated. Class is limited to 12 participants.  Ages 5 and above.

Replenish and Renew Class

Are your summer containers looking tired and worn?  We have the solution!  Come in and we will help you design your containers with fresh, blooming plants for the remainder of the summer and fall.  If you wish, we can fill one of our slip-in pots with soil and beautiful plants, and you can take that home and place it in your container. Or you can bring in your current container and we can help you design your new planting.
